Terms of Service

The service

Marcal Share lets you upload HTML files, host them at a private link, and control who can view them by inviting specific email addresses, optionally with an expiration date. Marcal Security separately offers security testing and consulting services described on our marketing site; those engagements are scoped and agreed separately and aren't covered by these terms.

Accounts

You sign in with Google, and you're responsible for keeping that account secure and for all activity that happens under it. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

Plans

The Free plan allows up to five hosted dashboards, without expiring access links or view history. The Premium plan is a recurring subscription that removes the dashboard limit and adds expiring share links and view history. Both the file-count limit and the Premium-only features are enforced on our servers, not just in the interface.

Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed and processed by LemonSqueezy, which acts as the merchant of record for these purchases — your payment is also subject to LemonSqueezy's own terms. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time from the billing portal linked in your dashboard. Refunds, if any, are handled according to LemonSqueezy's standard policies, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Marcal Share to:

• Upload or share content that is illegal, infringing, or that you don't have the right to distribute.
• Upload malware or content designed to attack, exploit, or exfiltrate data from other users or our infrastructure.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with access controls, rate limits, or plan limits.
• Access or attempt to access another user's account, files, or data without authorization.
• Use the service in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure or disrupts it for other users.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section, with or without notice.

Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload to Marcal Share. You grant us the limited right to store, host, and serve that content back to you and to the people you explicitly invite, solely to provide the service. You're responsible for having the rights to any content you upload and for who you choose to share it with.

Termination

You may stop using Marcal Share at any time and request deletion of your account by emailing us (see our Privacy Policy for how that works). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, misuse the service, or if we discontinue the product — where reasonably possible, we'll try to give you notice first.

Disclaimers

Marcal Share is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We are not responsible for content uploaded by users, or for how invited viewers use access they're granted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marcal Security won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to Marcal Share is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you directly. Continuing to use Marcal Share after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
